He is popularly known in the street of Ghana as the Dancehall Kin which was the title of one of his songs, he won an award in the year 2014 for that song. As a growing child, Shatta Wale loved music which made him followed his passion by dropping out of school and travelling to Jamaica to polish his dancehall craft. In an interview, he said every boy doing Dancehall today in the streets of Ghana came to him from tutelage and they have made names for themselves that’s why his fans call him the king of Dancehall music in Ghana. Year 2014 she launched her first solo single which she titled Bokor Bokor, this single made her gain an audience in Ghana and she released another hit which she titled Natural Girl and she went on to win the Unsung artiste of the year at the Ghana Music awards. Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng A.K.A Ebony Reigns was a dancehall artiste who stared music at an early age, she was consistent in the Ghana music industry until her death. Ebony loved music while growing up as a child, she was raised in the Urban areas of Accra but was from the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. She was discovered by musician Bullet from Ruff n Smooth ad she was signed to Ruff Town Record Label. She quit high school because of her music and she was more determined more than ever to make it. The year 2015 she released her first single which she titled Dancefloor and the video for the song was also released, the song became a hit in Ghana and was played across all radio station in Ghana and she was nominated for Unsung artiste for the Ghana music awards. Unfortunately, she died few days to her 21st birthday on the 8th of February 2018 after visiting her mother alongside with her in the car was her assistant and longtime friend with a soldier was killed in the fatal car crash.
