Latest update on the University Of Ibadan UI Cut Off Mark For All Courses {JAMB & Post UTME} 2020/2021 – Although a lot of students are currently searching for the University of Ibadan (UI) JAMB cut-off mark for the 2020/2021 academic session, we want you to know that it is yet to be made known by the management of the institution. However, we noticed that there are usually similarities between those released before a session and the ones released the previous year. So, therefore, we will be working with last year’s, to give hints about what to expect from Unibadan this year.
As we expect you to know already, the Unibadan, also called UI, is the oldest university in the country. Back then in 1932, Yaba College was founded in Lagos but was transferred to the city of Ibadan after some time. There, it became the University College of Ibadan, and today, the University of Ibadan is still leading the race when talking about the best higher institution in Nigeria.
Due to the quality education, this institution offers, a lot of students are usually keen on passing through the school and dream of becoming a Uite. Of course, who won’t love the idea of getting a superb education in a country like ours at a low price? The School fees paid by students of the University of Ibadan is one of the lowest you can get anywhere. So, each year, tons of students always make the school their first choice of institution when applying for the UTME examination.
University of Ibadan Cut Off Mark 2020/2021
UI JAMB Cut Off Mark is 200
However, the reason why some students won’t progress to the stage of writing this institution’s post UTME is that they weren’t able to score up to Ui’s Jamb cut off mark. Unibadan is a school with high standards, and she is one school that admits very few numbers of students each year.
Every year, the management of the University of Ibadan usually peg the institution’s Jamb cut off mark at 200. Even last year, the same thing was done. So, aspirants should note that they must get a minimum of 200 in Jamb before they can be invited to the next stage – Post Utme.
Kindly note that after the school has conducted their Post Jamb, they will release their departmental cut off mark (that is, each department will make known the minimum grade an aspirant must obtain before such can be shown the way in).
So, even if an aspirant should get 300 in Jamb but couldn’t eventually meet up with the cut off mark agreed on by his or her department, such won’t be admitted.
Here are the courses offered in the University of Ibadan, as well as their Post UTME Cut off marks for all courses released in the 2020/2021 session (note that “ELDS stands for ‘Educationally Less Developed States):

Additionally, let us add it that one of the beautiful things about the Unibadan is that once you meet the departmental cut off mark, admission is sure already. Unlike some schools where aspirants can’t begin to smile even if they were able to reach the cut off mark set for the course, UI is so different. Admission is sure for anyone that is able to meet up to the cut off mark. If your departmental cut off mark is 60, and you scored 60 on the dot, get ready for admission.
However, those who won’t be able to meet up to the agreed cut off should begin to plan how to get the change of institution form from Jamb. But you are keen on Unibadan and you won’t mind spending another year at home, you can try again next year.
If I put in for medicine and at the end of the screening i didn’t meet up for medicine but nursing…will i be admitted?
