University of Lagos (UNILAG) is one of the twenty-five (25) Federal Universities established in Nigeria. UNILAG was established shortly after Nigerian independence in 1962 making it one of the oldest universities in Nigeria. also, the university is accredited and overseen by the National Universities Commission (NUC). UNILAG JAMB Cut-off Mark

The University of Lagos (UNILAG JAMB cut-off mark is currently 200 for all courses. it tends to be higher for students who are interested to study medicine and other medical courses. Also, UNILAG only accepts and screens candidates who made the school their first choice in their Post UTME. 

UNILAG Admission Requirements

  • In order to get admitted into a full-time (regular) undergraduate programme in UNILAG, you can do so only through Direct Entry or seating for Joint Admission Matriculation Examination (JAMB) also known as Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). 

Direct Entry requirement A’ Level passes in courses like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, including Mathematics and English. 

UTME requirements include 5 credit passes in O’ Level in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

On the other hand, you need the right UTME subject combinations typically it is English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry/Physics.

  • You must have five (5) O’ level credits pass (or their equivalents) relevant to the science course you anticipate to study. 
  • You will be required to sit for the Post-UTME organized by the school and obtain at least the approved score by the school.
