OOU Cut Off Mark 2020/2021 {JAMB & Post UTME}

Latest update on OOU Cut Off Mark 2020/2021 For All Courses {JAMB & Post UTME} – A lot of students in Nigeria desire to study in a higher institution after their secondary school education. However, there are certain criteria that must be observed before this can come to pass. There are some requirements that must be fulfilled before you can be admitted to study in any of the higher institutions in Nigeria. Therefore, Nigerian students have various hurdles that stand between them and their dreams.

The first hurdle is to partake in Jamb and try passing the exam. After that, the student will hope that he or she can meet up to the required cut off mark for his or her institution of choice.

OOU Cut Off Mark 2020/2021

OOU Jamb Cut off Mark is 180.

It means those that scored 180 and above will progress to the next stage of being screened in the post UTME that will be set by the school later on in the year. However, those who couldn’t meet up with the score in their Jamb exam have no choice but to get the change of institution form from Jamb and change to other institutions that can accommodate what they had.

Since the first hurdle has been defeated already by many students, it is now time to know if their score was able to beat the Jamb cut off mark of their school. This means the agreed score that was set by the board of Jamb meant to be basic of admitting candidates into their schools of choice. It should be however noted that beating the cut off mark would not automatically guarantee admission into the institution you desire. It just means you have conquered another hurdle, and you are getting closer to your dreams.

If you were able to beat the cut off mark, you should ensure that you:

  1. Have a minimum of 5 credits in Mathematics and English and other relevant subjects as it relates to your course of study.
  2. Have already printed your original copy of JAMB result slip (this is very important)
  3. Have your original ‘O’ level certificate already. Note that some institutions are not a fan of awaiting results, and OOU is one of them.
  4. Have the original copy of your birth certificate with you
  5. Have your secondary school Testimonial too, and you should go for the exam with some recent passport photographs.

Furthermore on OOU Cut Off Mark

Before wrapping up this article, aspirants of OOU should note that the post UTME screening of the school is in two segments. The first one entails that students who successfully beat the Jamb cut off mark would be invited over (after they’ve purchased the form) for their internal screening.

After this, those who successfully beat their departmental cut off marks and saw their names on the admission list will be called upon for another screening exercise (just to confirm your documents)

For the first segment, you only need to tender your SSCE result and your JAMB registration print-out alone. It is also advisable that you do all it takes to arrive early and locate your screening venue quite early.

But for the second phase, you should go with the following documents:

  • – Original copies of your educational qualifications (which include your Statements of Results, certificates and so on).
  • – Your Birth Certification or Age Declaration, as the case may be
  • – Then you must also obtain a letter of good conduct from a responsible member of your community
  • – You should also get a Certificate of Local Government of origin; and this notification of admission status
  • – Any other document the school wants from you will be announced beforehand

We wish you the very best in your quest to get admitted to Olabisi Onabanjo University and to become a successful person in life.
