How To Go About Your Visit

The first thing to do is to ensure you have the proper name. the correct or official name is what the patient is going to provide to the hospital, and this is how the patient will be found.

Then you need to be sure that you know exactly what kind of treatment your loved one is receiving at the hospital. The kind of treatment determines the ward where they will be found.

Then check the chart above for the ward, and the appropriate visiting hours.

You may also need to obtain directions from your present location to the hospital. The hospital address is: 32 Quenera Drive, Beacon Bay, East London, 5205.

Then at the appropriate time, arrive at the hospital, and go to the front desk. Politely give them your name, tell them who you want to see, and tell them your relationship to the patient.

The nursing staff will then give you directions and instructions. Please follow them.

Guidelines For Visitations

The following guidelines can help you have a hitch free visit:

Unless otherwise stipulated, the hospital only allows 2 visitors per patient at any given time.

Children below the age of 12 may not be allowed in the wards.

The hospital may carry out covid-19 tests on visitors.

You may be required to sanitize your hands and wear masks on arrival at the hospital.

Please put phones on vibrate or silent. Please do not disturb other patients with noise from your cellphones.

Please make sure you stop at the nurses’ station before proceeding into the wards. Do not go straight into the wards to look for your loved ones. The nursing staff will tell you their location, and whether it is the appropriate time for them to receive visits.
