The major essence of this is to allow aspirants to have a viable idea of what to expect this year after seeing their courses and departments on the list. As far as the departmental cut off mark is concerned, they won’t be the same – but some will be higher than others. If a particular course has a large number of aspirants and many of the candidates did quite well, then the cut off mark that will be set must be on the high side.
