• Faculty of Administration: candidates must possess a minimum of two ‘A’ level/IJMB  pass in social and management science subjects including economics and a minimum of credit or merit pass in their relevant field of study or course.
• Faculty of Arts: candidates must possess a minimum of Two ‘A’ level/IJMB or NCE pass in literature in English and any other social science subjects plus a minimum of ND pass in the various course of studies including core subjects for various course.
• Faculty of Agriculture: Abu Zaria direct entry requirements for the faculty of agriculture are a minimum of Two ‘A’ level/IJMB passes in chemistry and biology or botany or zoology and HND in agriculture or related field of study with a minimum of credit pass.
• Faculty of Engineering: For aspiring candidates, they are to possess a minimum of Two ‘A’ passes in mathematics and either physics, chemistry or Agric, or ND upper credit in engineering or physics/mathematics or HND lower credit in the respective field of engineering from an accredited institution.
• Faculty Of Education: ABU Zaria direct entry requirements for this faculty is a minimum of NCE with ‘C’ grade in various fields of study and a minimum of IJBM/A level pass with ‘C’ grade in major fields and ‘D’ in other subjects and ABU diploma in the courses applied for.

• How to apply for ABU Direct entry screening.

For candidates that think they are eligible for admission into the school and have met up with the ABU Direct entry requirements can, therefore, apply for screening to be conducted by the school.

Candidates are to visit on their web browser: http://putme.abu.edu.ng. For registration as registration already commenced. Candidates would be required to create an account on the school screening portal to generate a remita code for payment, that same created account would be used for filling I your bio-data and details such as an A-level result. Candidates are required to pay a sum of two thousand nairas only (#2,000) in which payment would be made via online transactions using remita or using debit cards that are acceptable or by generating remita code and printed out copy should be taken to any commercial bank that offers remita services. We would recommend the First bank or zenith bank.

After payment(candidates that have successfully paid the screening fee) should login to the school screening portal to complete their registration by uploading their results and credentials for screening, after which a date would be fixed to commence screening for candidates and to check the date you are to be screened you have to log in to that same website for your screening dates.

• Admission Process for Direct Entry Candidates

ABU Zaria being one of the foremost universities in Nigeria has Two phases of the admission screening process for direct entry candidates:

• The first phase is the pre-admission process of screening that requires the applicants ‘A’ level results and bio-data.
