Marvelous Nakamba was born on the 19th of January 1994 in Zimbabwe, and he was able to rise to the top of his game with hard works and dedication. He started from playing grassroots football, and in 2010, was signed by Bantu rovers when he was just 16.

He moved to Europe in 2012 after being signed by the French Ligue 1 club AS Nancy, before moving to the Netherlands to play for Vitesse Arnhem. His skills eventually got the attention of Aston Villa, and in 2019, he joined the English club, signing a contract that pays him 2.5 Million euros (2.2 Million Pound) each year. 

Marvelous, who earns €12,393 ( £11,080 ) per day and €50,813 per week, is the richest footballer in Zimbabwe presently. In fact, stats showed that an average worker in the United Kingdom must work for over six years to earn what the footballer earns in a month. 

The midfielder can boast of a net worth that is around €12 million (£10.7 million), and he is doing fine for himself plying his trade in the English premier league. 

2. Knowledge Musona

Full Name: Knowledge Musona, Date of birth: 21 June 1990, Popularly Known As: “The smiling Assassin”, Place of Birth:  Zimbabwe, Current Club: Anderlecht

The second richest footballer in Zimbabwe is the talented Knowledge Musona. He was born on the 21st of June 1990, and he grew to become one of the best footballers his country can boast of. 

Also known as  “The smiling Assassin”, Knowledge, who schooled at Lord Malvern High School in Harare, plays as a left-winger or forward for Anderlecht, and he earns a lot of money plying his trade in the Belgian Pro League 

Knowledge has a brother who also plays football (his name is Walter Musona). Before Walter rose to his current status, he has played in South Africa and Germany 

Knowledge, who earns $USD100,000 each month, is also an influential player in the Zimbabwean national team. He played his first major game for his country back then in the year 2010, and ever since, he has been a top player in the team. 

3. Nyasha Mushekwi

Full Name: Nyasha Liberty Mushekwi, Place of Birth: Zimbabwe, Date Of Birth: 21 August 1987

Another very rich Zimbabwe player is Nyasha Mushekwi. He is not only a rich guy, but he is also a very talented player – whose skills brought him far to the top of his game. Due to the age factor, the talented star decided to call it a quit with the national side after the country was eliminated from the AFCON 2019 finals in Egypt. 

Nevertheless, he is yet to finally hung his boots, as he is still playing active football outside Zimbabwe. He is currently with China League One club Zhejiang Greentown and he is being paid a lot of money, despite his age.

Born in 1990 in the Zimbabwean region of Harare, Khama Billiat is currently the richest Zimbabwean footballer. He is one of the professional players in the Zimbabwe national team. As to the club side, Khama Billiat plays as a striker for Mamelodi Sundowns –a football club in South Africa’s Premier Soccer League.

During the 2010 summer transfer, CAPS United (a football club in Zimbabwe) sold Khama Billiat to the South African club Ajax Cape Town. On the 20th of August 2010, Khama Billiat marked his first appearance for the South African club. On the 19th of August 2013, Khama Billiat was acquired by Mamelodi Sundowns after sealing a 5-year contract. Regarded as the richest Zimbabwean footballer, Khama Billiat’s net worth is currently valued at R18 million.

5. Tino Kadewere

Philana Tinotenda Kadewere, Popularly Known as Tino Kadewere, Date Of Birth: 5 January 1996, Place Of Birth: Zimbabwe, Current Club: Le Havre

Tinotenda “Tino” Kadewere is not only a talented youngster when it comes to football, but he is also one of the richest footballers in the country, playing his trade in Europe. 

He currently plays for French side Le Havre, and he has also become an influential guy in the Zimbabwe national team. One thing that should be added is that Tino is a versatile player who can play adequately well as a striker and as a midfielder. Born in the Zimbabwean region of Kadoma in 1985, Cuthbert Malajila is one of the professional players in the Zimbabwe national team. In the club side, Cuthbert Malajila plays the role of a striker for Mamelodi Sundowns –a football club in South Africa’s Premier Soccer League. For the club side, Cuthbert Malajila began his professional career at Chapungu United. He was acquired by Highlanders in 2007. After a season at Highlanders, he joined another football club –Dynamos –in 2008. Prior to his move to Mamelodi Sundowns in 2013, he played for several other clubs including Maritzburg United, Club Africain, and Al Akhdar (on a loan term).

Born in the Zimbabwean region of Luveve in 1985, Tendai Ndoro is one of the professional players in the Zimbabwe national team. On the club side, Tendai Ndoro plays the role of a striker for Al-Faisaly –a football club in the Saudi Professional League. In 2011, Tendai Ndoro began his professional career at a Zimbabwean team –Chicken Inn. In 2013, Tendai Ndoro was acquired by Black Aces –a football club in South Africa. However, the player was immediately sent back to Chicken Inn to serve a loan term. In 2015, Ndoro completed a move to Orlando Pirates –another team in South Africa’s Premier Soccer League. Having spent two seasons at the club, Ndoro joined Al-Faisaly.
