He formed the Duo with his high school Buddy, Earl Conyers (Dolla Boy); Tauheed Epps adopted “Tity Boi” as his stage name. In 2002 Tity Boi and Dolla Boi were introduced to Ludacris, a fellow Georgia rapper, following the release of their independent album called, ‘United we stand, United we fall’. Ludacris took an immediate interest in the Duo and started playing their songs in his radio station. This led to Ludacris requesting the group to be part of his new record label, ‘Disturbing tha Peace’s subsidiary of DefJam recording. In October 2012, 2 Chainz said he would be re-entering the studio once again, immediately he completes his B.O.A.T.S concert tour. NBC’s Law Order hosted 2Chainz as a guest on their morning show; Special Victims Unit, in an episode that aired on the 8th of May, 2013. 2Chainz announced the release date of his second studio album, called B.O.A.T.S.II: ME Time featured music stars like Mase, Pusha T, Chrisette Michelle, Fergie, Drake, Lloyd, Pharell Williams, Lil Wayne, Rich Homie, Quan, Dolla Boy, Lamsui, and T-Pain among others. In October 2013, following the release of his second album B.O.A.T.II:ME Time, the rapper revealed to the media that he had begun working on his third studio album, but that he was trying to get Jay Z featured on the album. ColleGrove was a joint album released with Lil Wayne in November 2015. FreeBase was the EP released for free digital download in May 2014. The EP includes 7 songs and featured Lil Boosie, A$AP Rocky, Rick Ross and more. The EP received over 200,000 downloads. ‘I’m a Dog’ was released as a promotional single released by 2 Chainz in January 2014.
