A man named Uchenna, a perpetual sports gambler had reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his room in Uyo, Akwa Ibom after losing N22,000 to NaijaBet. The money was meant for his boss.

2. Enugu State Government raises alarm over Lassa Fever.

Due to the reported outbreak of Lassa Fever in Anambra and Ebonyi State – all neighbouring Enugu State, the Enugu State Government through the Ministry of Health had raised it alert level to red.
