But if you are bent on going to the University of Port Harcourt, then you might want to try again next year.

So, if you desire to study, let’s say, Medicine in Uniport, but you get 195 in Jamb, it means you can’t proceed to the next stage (because even the institution won’t invite you to come for the screening)

Just like various other Federal institutions, the University of Port Harcourt always has a lot of aspirants each year, and so, they try to do all it takes to disqualify asked many as possible. So, don’t expect them to go below the Cut off marks they have agreed on.

For those of you who successfully beat the cut off, congratulations to you. But don’t relax fully yet. Just get ready for the next phrase – Uniport’s post UTME screening exercise. It is after getting success in it that you can begin to celebrate and get ready for resumption.

Take note that the management will make known the model they will use for the screening this year. Yours is to keep your ears around so when the announcement had been made, you can swiftly take the necessary steps. So, just as stated earlier, be prepared. If it is going to be a written exam, be prepared so you won’t be taken unawares. You can continue reading your books. The zeal you used to study for your Jamb should not be dropped nor allowed to decline. In the end, when you eventually find yourself in the school, you will be glad that you take the necessary sacrifices then. So, burn the midnight oil now and continue reading. In fact, it is for your own advantage if you can cultivate the habit of studying extensively before getting admitted to a higher institution.
