Born and bred in one of the most popular ghetto, Ajegunle, Lagos State, Nigeria. Oritse Femi is a dropout of Delta State University (Delsu).

He started singing while in secondary school, growing up in a polygamous family ( with the love and support of his family ) his music career wasn’t a smooth journey due to lack of money. There are some times he would have to trek home, after borrowing money to pay for studio fees and get home to no food.

Oritse Femi performed during programs and students get together. He was encouraged and advised to go into music when people observed that he was talented.

Growing up in Ajegunle, Oritse Femi music career was positively affected by the presence of a music school in Ajegunle owned by John Nay for teaching Reggae, a music home which served as home to the likes of Daddy Showkey, Baba Fryo, Daddy Fresh and a host of others that he was able to associate and learn from.

His story changed after the release of his single “Flop Politician” when a marketer gave him N5 Million for it in 2006. Fast forward to the present moment where he earns at least N3 Million per show.

Oritse Femi has continued to release hit after hit music, with the likes of “Double Wahala” and now “Igbeyawo” that seems to be among the rave of the moment.

There is no doubt that he is talented and hot at the moment.
