For infection prevention purposes and children’s health and safety, children under the age of 12 years are not allowed inside the wards/units.
The hospital may require you to wear nose masks, and to sanitize your hands before entry into the wards.
The hospital typically does not allow food and drinks in the wards.
Please set cellphones to silent or vibrate; and do not disturb other patients with your calls.
How To Go About Your Visit
The first thing to do is make sure you have the correct name of the patient you want to visit. This is how the patient will be traced. It should not be a nickname.
Then you need to make sure you know the exact reason why the patient is at the hospital. That will correspond to a ward.
Then check the list above to find the ward, and the visiting hours associated with it.
You may also need to get directions to the hospital from your current location.
At the correct time, arrive at the hospital and go to the front desk. Give them your name, the name of the patient you want to see, and then your relationship.
The nursing staff will give you directions.
If you have to visit outside the normal visiting hours, then you have to contact the hospital first.
