Tutorial On How to create an eCitizen account for Kenyan Citizens

Stage One

Step 1. Go to www.ecitizen.go.ke on your browser

Step 2. Enter your National ID Number and your first name
click on “register now”. This will take you to Next page – Stage Two

Next Page – Stage Two

Step 1. Enter your email, confirm your email by re entering your email in the second box

Step 2. Enter your chosen password, confirm your password by reentering the password in the fourth box

Step 3. Selcect I agree to the terms and conditions

Click on continue
Next Page – Stage Three

You are required to verify your email, this is done by you login in to your email and click on the actvation link on the mail sent to from eCitizen
This will take you back to the eCitizen site with account allready verified
Now click on Next

At this page, you are required to verify your Mobile Phone Number
Enter your mobile phone number and click on send verificatoin code
The verification code will would be recevied on your phone.

Kindly enter the code received in the respective space

Now click on verify

Stage – four

Upload your recent clear portrait photograph
resize then click on continue and you are done

you will be welcome into you eCitizen Account
