The following are important notices for visitors to the facility.

Ground Rules For Visitors To The Hospital

Two visitors per patient at any given time during visiting hours.

No children under 12 unless otherwise stipulated. If a child under the age of 12 must visit, it must be with the permission of the hospital management, and under the supervision of an adult.

Visitors are not allowed to eat or drink in the wards.

Please place cellphones on vibrate or silent, and do not make any noise with your mobile devices.

If visiting a patient receiving treatment for covid-19, visitors will receive further directions at the hospital.

Please do not visit if you have been sick.

Please wait 7 days if you have tested positive for covid-19, or if you have been exposed to the disease.

You may be required to wear a nose mask, and to sanitize your hands upon arrival.

How To Go About Your Visit

First find out exactly what your loved one is receiving care for; that will determine the ward where they will be.

Ensure you have the correct name under which the patient is logged into the hospital.

Check the visiting times as provided above – every ward has a different visiting time.

Get directions to the hospital from your present location. The hospital is located at 33 van Riebeeck Road, Kuils River, Cape Town, 7580.

At the appropriate time, arrive at the hospital, and go to the front desk. Tell them who you want to visit, and tell them your relationship to the patient.

The nurses will then give you directions.

If you have to visit outside the normal visiting hours, or if you have to visit with a child under the age of 12, please contact the hospital first.
