Netcare Kingsway hospital visiting hours are the official times set aside for patients at the hospital to receive the affection and attention of their friends and family members. These times have been carefully selected so as to minimally obstruct the treatment they are receiving, and the rest which is necessary for them to recover.

Netcare Kingsway is a 235-bed hospital, with six operating theatres, and a 24-hour emergency care unit for accident victims. The hospital is very important to the people of Durban, and surrounding areas, and there is a lot of coming and going on the premises.

Ground Rules For Visitors

In order to make visits merry and without regret, the following rules have been set for visiting persons.

Please place cellphones on vibrate or silent. Do not disturb other patients with your calls or any other activity using your mobile devices.

Visitors are not allowed to eat or drink in the wards.

The hospital generally allows two visitors per patient at any given time during the above stated visiting hours, although in some wards only one is allowed. Kindly check how many visitors are allowed for the ward you are visiting.

The hospital does not allow children under 12, unless previously requested.

The hospital may request covid-19 testing before allowing visitors into the facility.

The hospital may request you to sanitize your hands, and to wear face masks before entering.
