Guidelines For Visitors

To keep the hospital safe and secure, the following guidelines should be followed.

Unless otherwise stated, the hospital maintains that only 2 visitors be allowed per patient at any given time.

No food and drinks in the wards.

Please set your phones to silent or vibrate, and do not make noise with your calls or any other activity in the wards.

Nursery & NICU: One parent at a time will be allowed to visit new-borns. The visiting parent will be subject to strict screening criteria prior to hospital admission. Other family members are not allowed.

Paediatric Wards: Only one parent at a time will be permitted to remain with the admitted child patient. That parent will have to undergo strict screening criteria being allowed into the ward.

Critically ill patients: Limited visitors will be allowed; however, that can only be with the consent of the Hospital Manager. As always, the visitors will first have to undergo strict screening protocols before being allowed into the wards; they will also be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment before allowed entry into the ward.

The hospital staff may require you to sanitize your hands and wear a mask upon arrival.

How To Go About Your Visit

The first thing is to make sure you have the proper name of the patient. Make sure you do not have a nickname, but the official name of the patient.

Then make sure you know the exact reason why the patient is receiving care at the hospital. That is how you will know the ward where they are located.

Then you may need to get directions to the hospital from your present location.

Then you have to check the chart above to find the ward, and the appropriate visiting times.

You may need to contact the hospital if you need more information.

At the proper time, arrive at the hospital, and go to the front desk. Give them your name and the name of the patient you want to visit. The hospital staff will give you directions, and give you instructions.
