Jumia House formerly known as Lamudi, Jumia Car formerly called Carmudi and Jumia Food formerly known as Hellofood are the next three subsidiaries of the Jumia group to be launched. Jumia Jobs and Jumia Deals which are the last two services under the umbrella of the Jumia group were launched in the month of April year, 2015.

After it was launched in the city of Lagos in the year 2012, it was not until 2014 that the company began entering into other African markets. The company opened offices in Uganda, Tanzania, Ghana, Cameroon, Algeria and Tunisia all in the year 2014. Jumia in the year 2015 raked in a whopping $234 million in revenue representing a 265% growth from its 2014 turnover.
