FUNAAB Cut Off Mark 2021/2022 Post UTME – Departmental

Taking a detailed and updated look into FUNAAB cut-off mark for all courses and the Post UTME departmental cut-off point. There are certain things to consider in aspiring to enter the higher institution in Nigeria the first step is passing WAEC, NECO, OR GCE examination.

The second step is writing JAMB, the third step is, reaching the JAMB cut-off mark for the institution one is aspiring for, then lastly, passing the post UTME examination which is conducted by the school one is aspiring for. Although some universities and Polytechnics are no longer conducting post-UTME screening examinations, universities like Federal Universities of Agriculture Abeokuta still take post UTME screening examinations for the best interest of the school.

FUNAAB Cut Off Mark 2021/2022

The Federal University Of Agriculture Abeokuta – 180

This means that the aspirants eligible to buy FUNAAB post UTME or admission form are those that scored up to 200 in their UTME result. Some aspirants do not understand the difference between JAMB cut off the mark and departmental cut off point, but am here to make you understand it better.

The cut-off mark is the lowest possible cut-off mark an aspirant is expected to reach in order to be admitted to any school in Nigeria.

As of 2015, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board officials made this cut off the mark to be 200 points for Universities and 180 for polytechnics.  But currently, Jamb’s cut-off mark is now 180 for Universities and 150 for polytechnics. So any aspirant that scores below 180 in JAMB, may not qualified to be admitted to any Nigerian university, but he or she can use the result and seek admission in any polytechnic of choice. The same goes for any aspirant that scores less than 150 in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board exam, he/she is not qualified to be admitted to any Nigerian polytechnic.

On the other hand, the departmental cut-off point is the least mark expected from an aspirant to reach in post UTME screening exam by the school an aspirant is seeking admission from. This one is controlled by the school. Every department in any University or Polytechnic has a cut off mark, if an aspirant could not reach this cut off Mark, he or she will not be given admission by my merit, but will be given a course that is well suited for him or her or maybe not given any course.
