Adekunle Ajasin University Cut Off Mark For JAMB 2020/2021

The institution’s Jamb cut off mark is pegged at 180. The management made it known that only candidates who were able to meet up with the cut off mark will proceed to the next stage. That is to say, those that scored 180 and above in Jamb and chose Adekunle Ajasin as their first choice institution in Jamb are the ones who were invited to participate in their post UTME screening exercise.

The AAUA departmental cut off mark will only be announced by the management of the University after they have conducted their post UTME screening exercise. In the coming weeks, the management will announce the sale of their post UTME form, and those eligible will be given instructions on how to go about with the registration.

The School has the liberty to either conduct a written exam for her aspirants, or to simply ask them to upload their SSCE Results online (that is, O Level result + Jamb Score). After that is done, each participant will be sent their grade, and then, the management will release the departmental cut off mark for each course. Those that we’re able to beat it will be admitted, while those who won’t meet up would be turned down.

Important Things To Know About Adekunle Ajasin University

  1. The School was founded in the year 1982 by Michael Adekunle Ajasin. Upon it establishment, it was known as Obafemi Awolowo University. At that time, Adekunle was head of the old Ondo State (a military governor), before some other states were carved out of the entity.
  2. In 1985, under a new governorship, the University was changed to Ondo State University by Michael Bamidele Otiko.
  3. In 2004, it was changed to the name it currently bears, and it has remained so till this moment. The step was actually taken to honour Ajasin, and the bill was signed by Governor Adefarati. The step was taken after the death of the ex-military governor.
  4. Three years later, the amended and subsisting statute of the AAUA was signed into law by Governor Olusegun Agagu.
  5. Although the establishment of the University can be said to be in 1982, the relocation in 1999 Was The start of the second phase of the institution’s history
  6.  The institution, like various others in the country, offers undergraduate and post-graduate. Additionally, AAUA also offers Pre-degree, JUBEB programmes in various fields.
